Artist Bio
Katie Paterson (1981, Scotland) is known for her conceptual artworks that consider our place on Earth in the context of geological time and change. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including in major exhibitions at Tate Britain, Museum of Contemporary Art Sydney and Guggenheim Museum New York. She was the winner of the Visual Arts category of the South Bank Awards.

Name: To Burn, Forest, FireTo Burn, Forest, Fire explores the scent of the first forest on earth and last forest in the age of the climate crisis through the creation of bespoke incense sticks. To Burn, Forest, Fire was originally commissioned by IHME Helsinki.
