This is the second chapter in Samba’s PRECARIOUS series, a journey that questions our feelings and perceptions in a world shadowed by threat of nuclear destruction. The work began with a simple, powerful gesture: Japanese woman invited a thousand people to stitch knots on a belt, each knot a silent prayer to protect a loved one from bullet at war. These knots carry care, love, and hope, while quietly reflecting our anxieties and fragile place we occupy in the world today.

Back by popular demand, our second Affordable Art Exhibition brings together original works under £100—many under £50. With no judging, this open call celebrates creativity and accessibility. It’s the perfect chance to discover unique art and support local talent. Whether for yourself or as a gift, treat someone special this Christmas with a piece of original art.
8th Dec 2025 - 14th Dec 2025
Supported by Borderland, local potters, Claude Frere-Smith, Louis Frere-Smith and Mia Williamson, led pottery workshops for the local community. This short exhibition offers a wonderful glimpse into both their and our inner creativity, with emotions brought to life through clay.
