REDCAR CONTEMPORARY ART GALLERY
Redcar Contemporary Art Gallery (RCCAG), located near the picturesque seafront of Redcar, North Yorkshire, is a dynamic, free-admission space for contemporary art.
Founded in 2022, the gallery strives to uncover and nurture the creative potential within Tees Valley through an inclusive and socially engaged approach It offers vibrant exhibition spaces showcasing both established UK and international artists alongside emerging talent, encouraging public interaction with diverse art forms—from painting and sculpture to installation and new media.

Summer Exhibition 2025

The 2025 Redcar Summer Exhibition, staged at Redcar Contemporary Art Gallery (RCCAG) from 11 July to 24August, is a thought-provoking exhibition based on the theme “About Time.” This third Summer Exhibition includes over 60 works from selected and invited artists working in all disciplines to interpret temporal themes demonstrating time’s layered presence in art and life.

Dream

Bellamy was five during the pandemic and spent long days indoors. She painted with her Nana, who followed Bellamy’s creative direction — copying her birds or colouring shapes as instructed. These three paintings express dreams of freedom and fun during lockdown. Now in Redcar, she’s proudly showing her work with three fellow young artists.
